European Hobbes Society Website

The European Hobbes Society would like to announce the launching of its website: http://www.europeanhobbessociety.org/. The Society is currently offering free registration for the site via the ‘Members’ tab.

The European Hobbes Society is an international and interdisciplinary research network, which aims to promote scholarship on the thought of Thomas Hobbes by providing a platform for scholars from across the world to share ideas. It originated in 2011 as an informal network of scholars working in Europe— European refers to its origins, not its destination— and has since organised five general meetings and two more focused workshops on ‘Thomas Hobbes and the politics of religion’. The Society will continue to organise such events as well as a bi-annual conference.

For more information, please see the Society’s website.
