A new group of scholars in the UK with interests in medieval philosophy has been established with the intent of coming together for a regular series of informal meetings to discuss work and share ideas. The inaugural meeting was held in June 2012 at The British Academy. Due to limitations of space attendance was by invitation only. At that meeting it was agreed to attempt to meet once a term in London. The first public meeting took place in November 2012 at The Warburg Institute.
