The Society is currently inviting graduate students and recent postdocs to enter its Charles Schmitt Prize. Thanks to the generous donations from an anonymous donor, the Istanbul Bilgi University, and Routledge, £500, £50 worth of Routledge books, and a year’s free membership of the ISIH (which includes subscription to the quarterly Intellectual History Review) will be awarded to the best submission in any area of intellectual history, broadly construed, 1500 to the present, including the historiography of intellectual history. The winning entry will also be published in the Intellectual History Review. Papers should be forwarded as e-mail attachments to stephen.gaukroger@arts.usyd.edu.au and s.clucas@bbk.ac.uk by the closing date of 31 December 2010.
